Abstract

This research article explores the profound ethical, social, and economic commonalities among the three Abrahamic faiths: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. The core of the study highlights that the scriptures and teachings of these religions place paramount importance on principles such as love, mercy, justice, and empathy. A central focus is given to the "Golden Rule" treating others as one would wish to be treated as a shared cornerstone across these traditions. In the realm of economic transactions, the study demonstrates a unified emphasis on integrity: Judaism’s insistence on business ethics, Christianity’s focus on fair trade, and Islam’s mandate for transparency in weights and measures. Furthermore, regarding prohibitions, the paper analyzes how all three faiths provide a collective moral framework against social evils like murder, theft, and oppression, exemplified by the 'Ten Commandments' and Qur’anic injunctions. The research concludes that these shared teachings are not merely spiritual guidelines but offer a robust foundation for building a just and peaceful society aimed at safeguarding human rights and alleviating socio-economic deprivation.
