Madrasa education is and has been the subject of the writings of both the Muslims and non-Muslim academicians alike. The recent past has witnessed an unprecedented interest in the theme of Madrasa education. This is evident from the unending growth of literature pertaining to Madrasa education, and the theme has attained a special focus and has gained much momentum after the 9/11 attacks, largely because of the purported relationship between Islamic religious instruction and the Arabic term “Jihad” (Diversely interpreted and are very often used in a negative sense). However, previous studies basically focus on male-centred Madrasa education and have received much attention in scholarly writings and debates. In contrast, girls Madrasa has been overlooked with the view of creating “Womanhood”. So, in this context, the fundamental concerns about the nature of females’ religious education remain unanswered. The current research highlights the idea of the whole institution to examine the education that the girls' Madrasa provides, as well as their attempts to tame feminism by smoothing out compliant bodies, showing how Islamic pluralism is seen in the non-Islamic countries. The shaping of womanhood is visible in the curriculum of the girls Madrasa that is constructed within the patriarchal system existing in India, is also part of this paper.
