This research paper examines the profound interconnection between Islamic moral values and the economic system, highlighting how ethics serve as the foundation of an equitable and sustainable economy in Islam. The study delves into core values such as taqwā (God-consciousness), ʻadl (justice), iḥsān (benevolence), ukhuwah (brotherhood), and taʻāwun (cooperation), exploring their practical implications on wealth creation, distribution, and consumption. Through analyzing these principles, the paper illustrates how the Islamic economic model promotes fairness, eliminates exploitative practices like usury and hoarding, and encourages social welfare through zakāt, waqf, and voluntary charity. Moreover, the research explores the pivotal concept of ḥalāl and ḥarām in Islamic economics, analyzing its application in income generation, wealth exchange, and distribution. By evaluating Islamic financial institutions, interest-free banking mechanisms (like mudārabah and mushārakah), and judicial enforcement of economic justice, the study identifies how moral standards are practically integrated within modern Islamic economies. The findings affirm the relevance of Islamic ethical guidelines in addressing global economic crises and propose actionable strategies for implementing these values in contemporary financial systems.
