Islam offers a holistic framework for human development that addresses both the external and internal dimensions of life. Among its core objectives is tazkiyah the purification of the soul and moral refinement. The Prophetic Sīrah (biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) stands as a timeless model for spiritual training, providing a comprehensive system that nurtures sincerity, remembrance of Allah (dhikr), self-accountability, repentance, patience, gratitude, and noble character. This study explores the spiritual methodology embedded in the life of the Prophet ﷺ and analyzes its relevance for personal transformation and societal wellbeing. The Qur’ānic verse, "He purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom" (Sūrah Al-Jumu'ah: 2), encapsulates the Prophet’s ﷺ dual mission of intellectual enlightenment and inner purification. In an age dominated by materialism, psychological unrest, and ethical decline, the Prophetic model of spiritual development emerges as a vital remedy for the human soul. This paper argues for the urgent need to revive Sīrah-based spirituality across various platforms educational curricula, community institutions, media, and digital technology to cultivate conscious, ethical, and spiritually grounded individuals.
