The doctrine of the Finality of Prophethood is a cornerstone of Islamic belief, ensuring the preservation of divine revelation and the protection of the Muslim community from false claims of prophethood. Throughout history, deviant movements such as Qadianism have challenged this principle, prompting the establishment of the World Council for the Protection of the Finality of Prophethood in Pakistan in 1953. The Council played a vital role in uniting Muslim scholars across different schools of thought, organizing international conferences, publishing refutations, and raising awareness about the dangers of Qadianism. Its efforts culminated in the historic 1974 resolution of the Pakistani Parliament declaring Qadianis a non-Muslim minority, an achievement further reinforced by the World Muslim League’s conference in Makkah. The Council’s activities ranging from education and media engagement to building international networks highlight the importance of collective action in defending core Islamic doctrines.
