Abstract

Due to the behavioural issues prevalent in our society, we are motivated to study how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ dealt with the widespread behavioural issues in His ﷺ time. Our goal is to identify potential strategies to solve contemporary issues of society. This research will contribute to get the solutions to the current problems involving human behaviour and social development, it will benefit by giving a fuller knowledge of the Prophet’s ﷺ   teachings and aims to explore the Sīrah-related literature on the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ civic decency, behaviour, etiquette, and sensibility to draw lessons from the Prophet’s ﷺ actions in diverse contexts. The study will focus on the Prophet’s ﷺ emphasis on kindness and compassion towards all people, regardless of their background or status and explore how the Sīrah provides a comprehensive framework for developing a well-rounded personality and promoting positive social norms, which are essential for building a harmonious and prosperous society. The paper will conclude by discussing how studying the Sīrah and emulating the Prophet’s ﷺ character can help individuals develop good manners and ethical behaviour, enhance their interpersonal skills and contribute to the betterment of society.
