In the present era, the global feminist movement is in full swing regarding equal rights for men and women. Under which women should work against men and prove that women can do better than men in every field. In the eyes of Allah, the standard of superiority and excellence of all human beings (men and women) is piety. In Islamic society, men have been entrusted with more duties and have been made the guardians of women and responsible for the necessities of life. Iqbāl has highlighted the materialism of European civilization in his poems and prose. Iqbāl also made very valuable suggestions regarding the education of women and women's rights. Iqbāl says that nature has assigned separate services to both of them and the correct and regular performance of these separate duties is essential for the welfare of mankind. The term feminism came into being in 1880. The feminist movement is divided into three periods. The initial period started from the late nineteenth century to 1960. The second period is considered to be from 1960 to 1990. The third period started from 1990 and is still ongoing. This movement played a great role in the destruction of the family system and the creation of a sex-free society. In the present era, unlike Western society, in societies where Islamic teachings remain, not only the family system remains, but Islamic society; has largely escaped chaos, anxiety, sexism, and immorality. In the West, due to movements like the Feminist Movement and LGBTQ+, those societies are suffering from moral decline, while due to the presence of Islamic teachings, these movements have had an impact on Islamic societies, but the situation has not deteriorated as much as in the West.
