Abstract

The research aims to define the position of Islam on marriage at puberty, and to clarify the dangers of delaying marriage, and to call for early marriage starting from the puberty of young men and women, and to shed light on the contemporary reality that contradicts nature and Islam in delaying marriage. The research methodology is summarized in following the analytical inductive method. The research consists of an introduction, four chapters, a conclusion, and an index of sources. The chapters are as follows: the age of marriage in the Qur’ān and Sunnah, legal justifications for early marriage, natural justifications calling for marriage at puberty, contemporary social justifications calling for marriage at puberty. The research recommends establishing a program concerned with qualifying parents and children to train children on life skills and marital life skills so that they are ready for marriage at puberty.
