Abstract

The research evaluates the role and efforts of JUI concerning the political and religious harmony in Pakistan. JUI is a religious political party that has been working for the supremacy of the Qur'ān and Sunnah in Pakistan and annoying to reduce religious and political extremism in society. According to JUI society should be made aware of Islamic teaching because religious persons can elect those whose play a role for Islamization in Pakistan. Basically, JUI believes that establishment of religious community is essential for development of Islamic State. According to national circumstances factors for achieving goals are social consciousness, individualization and political awareness that should be communicate by intellectuals of these fields. Therefore, JUI has numerous sub- institutions for the formation of public opinion which are playing an important role in the awakening of activism like religious, political consciousness and produce peaceful society. Similarly, JUI provides a platform for religious and political leadership to develop religious and political harmony and invention of nonviolent society. The article reflects the effort of JUI during different regime and different platform also explains the success of religious, political strategy and capacity building needs through its positive attitude.
