This research explores the social status of eunuchs during the Prophetic period of early Islam, focusing on their roles, treatment, and societal integration. Eunuchs, a distinct class in many ancient civilizations, were often employed in various administrative, domestic, and religious capacities. In the context of early Islam, particularly during the life of Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ), the study examines how Islamic teachings and practices influenced their position in society. The research analyzes relevant Ḥadīth literature, historical accounts, and Islamic legal perspectives to understand how eunuchs were perceived and treated within the Muslim community. It explores the principles of equality, dignity, and rights under Islamic law, investigating whether these ideals were extended to eunuchs and how they navigated societal structures in Medina and the broader Arabian Peninsula. By examining these aspects, the study contributes to the understanding of Islamic views on marginalized groups and offers insights into how religious values shaped their social standing in the formative years of Islam.
